Logan, originally a Wyoming native, has called Nevada and Las Vegas home for more than 13 years. Logan completed his MBA in 2021 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where he also headed the Rebel Venture Fund as Executive Director. During his tenure at the RVF, he gained first hand knowledge of startups, early stage venture capital, and community development. He also worked alongside StartUpNV to evaluate early stage startups. Upon completion of his education, Logan accepted a position at StartUpNV to lead community engagement and dealflow. Previously he worked in business operations for various departments and grant funded institutions associated with the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
As a seasoned business developer, community engagement and relationships manager, he thoroughly enjoys collaborating with various stakeholders to identify and execute shared goals. With a diverse background as a Program and Operations Coordinator, Business and Teams Manager, Recruiter, and Ops Leader, Logan has amassed a wealth of experience working in both large and small, dynamic organizations. His expertise spans various areas including early business development, corporate finance, venture capital, startup evaluation and development, and community partnerships.
One of Logan’s key roles involves closely engaging with startup founders to gain a deep understanding of their investment and operations needs. By doing so, he is able to effectively execute strategic and operational initiatives and facilitate valuable connections to resources and capital. Logan is driven by a mission to contribute to the economic development of the Greater Nevada Area and foster long-term success within the emerging startup ecosystem.
